What This is About

Frog at Fairyland Pond

We were assigned to go to nearby locations in Lincoln, Concord, and Acton. Our job was to identify various glacial features and determine how they were formed, and when. We also had to get a sense of what happened when the Laurentide Ice Sheet retreated. Throughout these pages you will find explanations of the geology we found at places such as Fairyland Pond, Author's Ridge, the Concord River, Drumlin Farms, and the Acton Arboretum.
